Cecile Peterkin, a charismatic and inspiring woman is the founder and president of Cosmic Coaching Centre and ProMentoring Inc. Cecile has over 25 years training and experience in career and leadership coaching, mentoring, empowerment counseling , train-the-trainer, project management, adult learning, training, instructing, facilitating and personal development . Cecile has touched the lives of hundreds of people across North America.
Prior to becoming a coach, Cecile spent over 17 years in the Financial Industry as a Senior Manager of Operations and Administration for one of Canada’s larger Mutual Fund Companies with over $7 billion of assets under management and 30 funds. The sale of the company forced Cecile to pursue her passion – working with people to help them have a meaningful life, advancement and growth.
Peterkin’s Career Coaching empowers middle managers and mid-career professionals to leverage their talents, take control of their lives and discover a more enjoyable way to live and work. With so much on the news about the current economic crisis and increasing layoffs, Cecile helps them to adapt to changes, grow professionally and create a sustainable career plan. What worked ten years ago in planning and managing a career will not work in the 21st century - it takes more than being great at a job to achieve career success. Cecile offers a host of career solutions including career guidance and success strategies via one-on-one coaching sessions, ebooks , ecourses and audios, some of which are Free.
It was Cecile’s interaction with her career coaching clients that germinated the idea for ProMentoring Inc. Many of the challenges her clients faced could be positively impacted by their participation in a mentoring program, one in particular that extended into a variety of environments, situations and organizations.
Having been both a mentor and mentee, Cecile Peterkin, understands the powerful impact mentoring has on the lives of those involved.
Cecile started ProMentoring Inc. to help businesses leverage the mind-share of retiring Baby Boomers and senior managers, and transfer it to the next generation of leaders – to pass on knowledge, wisdom and experience. Her ProMentoring Program is a vital tool for improving leadership skills, succession planning, learning and development, and career advancement. The program enables rising leaders to garner first hand business knowledge and expertise through the development of a rewarding one-on-one relationship.
Cecile holds memberships with both the International Coach Federation and the Career Professionals of Canada.
Peterkin has been featured on television and radio; she brings her energy and inspirational abilities to her presentations.
